vestrova.online is a small independent publication about consumer security software. It exists to answer one question honestly: what does this product actually do, and is it the right one for you? It is funded by affiliate commissions, which are disclosed on every page that carries them.
Who publishes it
The publisher is Beatiful House s.r.o., a Czech limited liability company registered at Záběhlická 1721/41, Záběhlice, 106 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic, company registration number 27594327, VAT identification number CZ27594327.
Sandra Adams is the director of publication and the named author of the editorial articles. Everything here carries a byline and a date, because a reader is entitled to know who is telling them something and when.
What we publish
Explanatory articles about consumer security products and the problems they address: what is in a plan, what is not, how the underlying technology works, what independent laboratories measured, and the cases where a cheaper option or no purchase at all is the better answer. We also publish guides that carry no commercial links at all, such as online security basics.
What we do not publish
No invented reader stories. No made-up star ratings. No countdown timers or fake scarcity. No promise that a product will keep you safe, because none can. The prohibitions are listed in full in the editorial policy, and several of them exist because an earlier version of this site broke them before it was rebuilt in September 2026.
How it is paid for
Affiliate commissions, and nothing else. No display advertising, no subscriptions, no sponsored posts, no paid placements. When you follow a link marked partner link and buy, the seller pays us a percentage of its own margin; your price is unchanged. The advertising disclosure sets out the arrangement, including the conflict of interest it creates.
How we treat the people who read it
This is the part we are most willing to be judged on. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising pixel, loads nothing from a third-party server, and writes nothing to your browser’s storage. We do not know how many of you there are, which pages you read or how long you stayed, and we have decided we do not need to.
That is also why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. The cookie policy explains how to verify all of this yourself in your browser’s developer tools in about a minute.
It is why there is no contact form, too. A form would collect data. The contact page gives an email address and a postal address instead.
Illustrations
Every diagram on this site is an original SVG drawn for the article it appears in. We use no product screenshots and no stock photography — partly because both raise copyright and trademark questions on an ad-funded page, and partly because a diagram built to explain a specific mechanism explains it better than a photograph of someone looking concerned at a laptop.
Independence
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gen Digital Inc., Norton, LifeLock, Microsoft or any other company named on this site. Brand names are used only to identify the products discussed.
