Cookie policy

Effective 21 September 2026.

1. What we store: nothing

Most cookie policies are a table of the trackers a site runs. This one has no table, because there is nothing to put in it.

• No cookies. Not first-party, not third-party, not “strictly necessary”, not session, not persistent. The site needs no login, no basket and no preference memory, so it needs no cookie.
• No local storage. The JavaScript on this site never calls localStorage, sessionStorage or indexedDB. Those words do not appear in it.
• No pixels or beacons. No tracking image, no navigator.sendBeacon, no fetch, no XMLHttpRequest. The site makes no network request after the page has loaded.
• No fingerprinting. Nothing reads your canvas, audio stack, font list, screen metrics, battery, hardware concurrency or time zone.
• No third-party assets. No Google Fonts, no CDN library, no remote image, no embedded player, no social widget, no consent-management platform. Every byte comes from vestrova.online. We use a system font stack precisely so that no request goes to a font server.

2. Why there is no consent banner

Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), which in the Czech Republic is implemented by the Electronic Communications Act, requires consent before storing information on, or gaining access to information already stored in, a user’s terminal equipment. The obligation is triggered by the storing or the reading. We do neither. Nothing is triggered, so there is nothing to ask you about.

A banner here would be theatre: a dialogue asking permission for something that is not happening. We think the honest version of cookie compliance is not collecting the data, so that is the version we implemented. You are not being tracked in exchange for clicking “accept”, and you are not being tracked if you never click anything.

3. How to verify this yourself

Do not take our word for it. The check takes about a minute and needs no software beyond the browser you are reading this in.

In Firefox

1. Press F12 to open the developer tools.
2. Open the Storage tab.
3. Look at Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage, Indexed DB and Cache Storage. Under https://vestrova.online every one of them should be empty.
4. Switch to the Network tab and reload with Ctrl+F5. Every row in the Domain column should read vestrova.online. There should be no other host.

In Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser

1. Press F12.
2. Open Application. In the left panel, expand Storage.
3. Check Cookies, Local storage, Session storage, IndexedDB and Cache storage. All empty for this origin.
4. Open Network, reload, and sort by the Domain column. Only vestrova.online should appear.
5. In the Network tab, click any row and look at the response headers. There should be no Set-Cookie header on any response.

In Safari

1. Enable the Develop menu: Safari → Settings → Advanced → “Show features for web developers”.
2. Develop → Show Web Inspector, then the Storage tab.
3. Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage and Indexed Databases should all be empty for this site.

Read the source

The only script on this site is /js/site.js. It is short, it is not minified and it is commented. You can read the whole thing in a couple of minutes and confirm that it contains no storage call and no network call. Its sole function is to copy an advertising campaign parameter from the current page URL onto an outgoing partner link.

4. What happens on other people’s sites

This policy covers vestrova.online. When you follow a partner link you leave this site, and the site you arrive at will almost certainly set cookies and track you — that is how affiliate attribution works, and we cannot and do not control it. Their cookie notice applies there. If you prefer to avoid it, navigate to the seller directly instead of using the link.

5. Server logs are not cookies

For completeness: our web server writes a standard access log, which contains your IP address and is deleted after 14 days. That is processing of personal data on our server, not storage on your device, so it falls under the GDPR rather than the cookie rules. It is described in full in section 3 of the privacy policy.

6. If you find something

If you run the check above and find a cookie, a storage entry or a third-party request that we have not disclosed here, we want to know immediately. Email info@vestrova.online with what you found and how you found it. We will fix it and say so on this page.
